Hi moderation staff~
The other day Grackis/AOE, while in the middle of one of his extensive rants about something or another, mentioned Hunting quests. I thought it was a pretty good idea so I decided to reform it a little bit and put some thought into how these quests should go down.

THRILL OF THE HUNT
Reward: Something unique like a special crafting material or equipment. Weapons/armor with +stats, or special abilities/e-ranked sword arts. Increased EXP/COL in comparison to a normal quest.
Participants: Unlimited, although only one unique reward is given out per quest
Difficulty: Hard/Very Hard.
The Mark, or the named mob that the group/player will be trying to hunt, will be extremely difficult and should be DMd by a mod. While possible to be soloed by a strong player with appropriate items/skills, it is not recommended.
Maybe the quest has to be completed in a certain time frame or the Mark will evade the players.
Every couple of floors could have a unique Mark with a different reward for the players to rally and conquer.
These quests should have some sort of downside to them. Perhaps due to the extensive nature of tracking the beast, this quest can be the only one a character has active at a time (excluding socials). Only one player/group can attempt the hunt quest at a time so that a Hunt mod doesn't get overburdened with running monotonous threads across multiple players.
The penalty for failure should be extreme as well, although not necessarily death. Temporary negative skills? Unable to quest for a week? Unable to try the Hunt Quest for two weeks?
Just suggestions.
