Tsukiko Mika was the second of seven children born to the Tsukiko family and the first female born to the family. She was the role model for the other two girls in the family, the fourth and fifth children. Her parents were of different nations; her father was a businessman of Tokyo, Japan, and married her American mother right before the birth of her older brother Gosho. Mika was the next, followed by Masashi, Hiromu, Naoko, Seishi and Atsushi.

She was a Japanese citizen, and had a very busy family. Her father constantly worked, and her mother seemed to be too busy to do anything other then pop out children like rabbit spawn and make sure that they all got an education. Mika was left to be entertained by her older brother a lot, and as more children came along, there was NO privacy. A small resentment was starting to flourish in her heart for her family, yet the terror of being alone still dwelled in her heart.

She made many friends, and showed an interest in music from a young age. She would sing in the shower, sing to her friends, and sing for anyone who would care to listen. She was prompted to join choirs both in her community and her school, and yet she wanted something more. When one of her friends, Mizuki Tachibana, prompted her to join an all-girls band with her, Mika eagerly accepted. She was the main vocals in the band, and she brought a unique twist to the band; she was multi-lingual due to her heritage, and occasionally they would have English songs.

Another great influence in her life, and perhaps the most important of all, was Kiyu Mizurashi. Kiyu was a Japanese girl that she met in her language class. Kiyu was a great friend and a great muse for Mika's songwriting. Through Kiyu and walking home with her after school, she met her twin brother, Koji Mizurashi.

She had a shock of her life that changed both her and Koji forever, the night that Kiyu died in a vehicle accident. It had been raining. Mika had decided to head straight to her garage instead of walk home with the twins after she saw them glaring at each other. She got a text from Kiyu about ten minutes before her death:

“I’m just gonna walk away. I don’t want to fight with him.”

“Cool, sure, but it’s raining Kiyu.”

“I don’t care. I need to breathe.”

“What the hell is going on?”

Mika never got a reply back. A couple of hours later, she got called to be told that Kiyu was dead. Mika tore herself apart over it. She thought that if she had walked with Kiyu and Koji, they wouldn’t have fought long before she diffused it, and Kiyu wouldn’t have had to walk out.

Since that night, she has never placed blame out loud upon Koji, but she does not trust him. She is nice to him, even is affectionate towards him, but Koji could never tell her what happened to her friend, and she never truly trusted him again as a result.

None the less, Koji and Mika sought comfort within each other. Koji had lost his other half and Mika had lost one of her good friends. When Mika wasn't practising with Mizuki in the band, Mika was with Koji hanging out. She kept herself away from her parents and family, and Koji's family started to feel more like a family to her; she got attention from them.

Mizuki was the one that got Mika into Sword Art Online. Mizuki when she wasn't in band practice was normally on a computer either writing or playing video games, and when Mizuki heard about Sword Art Online, she wanted someone to play with. It was Mika's first MMO, and Mika joined Mizuki that day just because she was willing to try out one of these games that Mizuki was so fond of.

The result was horrifying for Mika. She was stuck in this video game, incredibly confused, and not only was she likely to die, she knew NOTHING about these MMOs. Mika holed up inside of Stumptown, and quite frankly, she was too cowardly to leave the edge of the city. At least, not alone. She took a mixture of abilities that she thought would be interesting, and settled down to wait for an opportunity.

SWORD ARTS

ARTEMIS ARROW. one-handed spears
1 Strikes, 2 Specials, 75% Speed, 75% Power

The user raises the spear in their hand above their shoulder. At the activation of the sword art, the spear tip will glow a bloody red, before spreading down the shaft of the spear. Then the user stabs it at the target. Upon contact, the spear has a higher chance of causing the HATE effect on the target, turning its attention to the user.

MOON GLOW. one-handed spears
2 Strikes, 2 Specials, 75% Speed, 25% Power

The user thrusts out the spear at the target as it turns into a white-hot beacon of light. The user hits the first target, then starts to draw the spear in a half-circle, hitting two more targets around the first target with a grazing blow. Then, the user thrusts forward into the first target again, as if pressing the half-circle into the three targets. This generates HATE on the targets for the user. NOTE: This can only be applied to those in front of the user.
