The Monster Database is a list of monster archetypes. When you are in a quest and know you will be pursuing one of these types, please state what the archetype is, the general description of the monster, and the overall c-level of the monsters. NOTE: If your thread goes on for longer than you imagined and you have an opportunity to add more monsters, you may do so. Your other task will be to state whether it is a unique mob (unique to your quest alone), or whether your monster can be used by others to use in their own quests.
Most of the monster archetypes below can be found on all floors but gradually receive differences along the way. Some may even drop different materials. As we release more floors, sub-categories of archetypes will be released that will pertain to specific floors. As an example, we will eventually include dragons. You’ll notice Floor 4 has its own list of sub-archetypes, given the unique and custom monsters pertaining to the floor theme. From time to time, special floors may have unique monsters only that pertain only to that floor.
This is the database of archetypes for floors one to four.>> floor one to four archetypes

This ability also hits depending upon the c-Level or Beast Tamer level.

YOKAIYokai are a class of supernatural monsters in Japanese folklore. They range from malevolent to mischievous, and some even bring good fortune. They often possess animal features but there are a multitude of forms and appearances. Refer to the list of sub-archetypes below to see the types of yokai available to currently fight. NOTE: At the present time, Yokai may not be tamed by beast tamers.
Yokai can be found in the following zones:FLOOR 4

Uncommon: Salt, Soybeans, Bamboo, Vial of Dark Blood, Eel
Rare: Macai Flour, Sake, Vial of Weak Blood, Wheat
Exotic: Equipment, Weapon
All Yokai have this special ability:Misdirection: Due to the variety of monsters within the Yokai classification itself, they all possess a myriad of specialties. However, they are tricksters by hearts and this ability embodies that trait. The yokai will create visual hallucinations, visible only to a single enemy, in an attempt to throw them off. Because of this, it is best to face these crafty creatures in a group.
Yokai sub-archetypes:
ZOMBIEThis is the first floor where technically “real” zombies appear as an archetype. On this floor, however, zombies more commonly come in the form of traditional Japanese warriors and samurai. They move quickly but their actions are easily predictable and they hold hardly a lick of common sense. However, be wary of these zombie samurai. These samurai possess the same special ability as elves, combat mastery.
ANIMALMany indigenous Japanese animals are thought to have magical qualities. Most of these are shape shifters that often take on an animalistic form. Some of the better known animal yokai are raccoon dogs, foxes, snakes, badgers, wolves, cats, spiders, and dogs. Although all of these yokai appear similar to their animal counterparts, they all have a physical characteristic or mark that easily gives them away as supernatural (i.e., nine-tailed fox, a rat with two tails, a snake with two heads, a jeweled necklace hanging around an animal's neck, a wolf with a distinctly colored mark on its fur, an almost translucent animal, and so on)
ONIOni are one of the more well-known supernatural monsters in Japanese folklore. These creatures are commonly depicted as demons, trolls, or ogres. Although they are humanoid for the most part, they usually have unnatural features such as additional eyes, fingers, or toes and wild hair with two horns and large fangs. Their skin is usually red, blue, green, or black in color. They are also renowned for carrying large swords and wear little clothing at all.
TSUKUMOGAMITsukumogami are simply old household items that have come to life and received souls of their own. The list is practically unlimited but is popularly associated with: straw sandals, lutes, paper lanterns, old umbrellas, old alcohol jars, and tea kettles. Although these creatures are mostly harmless, they are adept at playing pranks and when angered, they have the capacity to band together and take vengeance against their enemies.
HUMANA large number of Yokai were once human beings that were transformed into something horrific and grotesque, usually during a traumatic or intense emotional state. One common example is a woman that turns, only to reveal a face with a blackened mouth. Another example is the risen corpse of a farmer who haunts his abused land, and even humans with elongated necks during the night. These human transformations can be very broad but there are very few in number that are seen.
