Procrastinates<<HISTORY>>Born just outside Detroit Michigan Michael McNabb had a fairly active
childhood. He was fairly popular all through elementary school, he
played in the woods behind his family home with his friends and was a
regular at the boxing gym his older brother frequented. When he was
fifteen his parents moved to Baltimore Maryland. The change from country
life in the upper Midwest and city life on the East Coast was a drastic
one and not at all positive. He didn't fit in, at least not as well as
he was used to and rather than try and branch out, he turned to video
games to eat up his free time. He wasn't all that great at the
competitive games, but he did enjoy the Role Playing Games. Eventually
things got better. He made friends, he started going outside and
gradually gravitated away from video games. When he was nineteen he
joined the United States Army. He wasn't a member of the combat arms,
instead he chose to serve as combat photographer. His first two years in
the Army were uneventful. He spent his time State side taking pictures
for the base newspaper or promotion ceremonies.
During this downtime he was sent to combatives training to learn hand to hand fighting
techniques despite the fact that he would probably never see combat.
That changed during his third year. Africa had long been a hotspot for
racial and religiously motivated violence but the United States had kept
only a minimal presence. Michael volunteered to go to Africa as part of
a Coalition of nations who were attempting to train the armies of
friendly African nations. It was a standard goal, one that attempted to
maintain trade rights by stabilizing weak nations.
The first few months were easy enough, Michael would go 'outside the wire' with
infantry units to patrol the surrounding regions and give the local
militias opportunities to get hands on training using western tactics
and equipment. Michael's job was to take photos of the African and
American troops for PR purposes. It was an easy assignment, right up
until insurgent groups started shooting at them. The occasional mortar
round wasn't uncommon, but full blown fire fights were. Michael was
caught in three skirmishes during his eight month deployment. He saw a
handful of people get injured, a few more get killed, two of which were
friends of his, but he never regretted volunteering.
When he returned back to the states the old pass times were boring. Drinking
passed the time but left him feeling empty, going to the gun ranges were
no longer exciting. It didn't take long but he fell back into role
playing games. He still wasn't very great at them, but he loved them all
the same. When he finally got wind of Sword Art Online he immediately
pre-ordered a copy. The following months passed in agonizing slowness
but at long last he got his hands on the new Sword Art Online video game
and the Nerve Gear that came along with it. He took a weeks leave just
to play the game, and was consequently made fun of by his NCO. He didn't
care, he was just excited to play the game.
At first everything was going well. He managed to team up with a few other players and they
all began to explore the virtual world in an attempt to get used to the
games peculiarly handling. They had just stepped into a battle with low
level Kobolds when they were all teleported into a crowd of other
players. That was when thigns took a turn for the worst. Kayaba Akihiko
made his announcement, and all of a sudden the virtual world became
reality. Death was a possibility. Michael was enraged to say the least,
not because he could die, he had accepted that fact ages ago, but
because there were people here, innocent people. They hadn't signed up
for this, they weren't prepared to die, hell half of them were just
kids. He was angry because one man wanted to play God, and was willing
to sacrifice others to make it a reality.sKILLS

>>n/aSWORD ARTS
Ríastrad. Two-Handed Spears
3 Strikes, 0 Specials, 125% Speed, 25% PowerMichael sets his feet, presenting only his side to the enemy and leans forward slightly. Most of his weight is on the left forward leg as the rear leg is used to pivot his body so as to keep the spear point towards the target should the enemy attempt to flank him. He spins his spear once in his hand vertically and places it atop his shield. This charges the attack, causing the weapon to glow white. Should he use this Sword Art without having a shield equip he simply uses his free hand to support the weapon and serve as a base. When the attack is released the spear is thrust three times at the opponent in front of him in rapid succession. Each thrust can be sent to different locations on the same enemy's body. Meaning the first thrust my be aimed at the head, while the other two are sent to either the torso, arms, or legs.
Lizard Killer. Two-Handed Spears
1 Strikes, Delay, 150% Speed, 50% PowerMichael holds the spear vertically grabbing it towards the upper section while raising his arm. This charges the attack, causing the weapon to glow white. The butt of the spear is then driven towards the enemies lower extremities. His grip towards the top of the weapon ensures that as much force as possible can be put into the blow. When the blow connects it has a chance of delaying the opponent, allowing himself and whoever else is in his party time to escape.<<Horace from Fire emblem as Michael mcnabb>><<character by mcnabb>><<profile template by bunny>>
