Alastor<<NAME>>Christopher Saint<<AGE>>19<<GENDER>>Male<<NATIONALITY>>America<<APPEARANCE>>Alastor<<PERSONALITY>>[+]Patient
Raised as a servant of a very obnoxious woman who had difficulties understanding the situations she was in, Christopher was forced to learn how to be extremely patient and understanding. He learned how to take things slow and was able to control himself when something became to difficult. He has also learned how to handle very difficult people, allowing him to help coax them down from sometimes dangerously aggressive levels to try and make the situation much less dangerous.
Along with being able to handle difficult people without become out of control himself, Christopher is the type of person to take things slowly in the first place. Rather than rush head-on without thinking, he takes a bit more time to understand a situation rather than jump right in. Even when learning something new, he takes his time as to make sure he full understands what he is learning.
[+]Resourceful
Taking advantage of every possible thing around you to make life more efficient and less costly is something Christopher understands well. He makes full use of everything he is given or takes, and will use every bit of what he has until it is completely gone. Nothing is wasted by this man. Whether it be energy, food, clothing, or even words, Christopher tries to be as efficient as he possibly can be in hopes that it will pay off later on.
[+]Honorable
As a human servant, Christopher is very aware of his position and accepts it with all of his heart. The knowledge of sacrificing yourself to protect and aid someone else helps this man live on. He is very respectful because of this and holds himself in high regards. He also holds others up as well. Christopher believes that everyone should be respected and treated fairly. Dirty tactics, poor word choices, and demeaning shouts are things he despises. He prefers to remain curt, professional, and upfront rather than sly or sneaky.
In battle, Christopher is also one who will never leave someone behind. He is a very persistent person when it comes to ensuring other's safety in combat. He is the type of person to rush in to combat at the cost of his own life if it means to defend those behind him. Even as a thoughtful type of person, he is willing to cast that aside if it means that someone else will live.
[+]Protective
If Christopher finds something or someone worth it, he will defend that thing or person with his own life. He will give it all he's got to ensure the safety of the object, idea, or person, and will never back down unless forced to. He does not tend to get fired up over many things, but if something he holds dear is threatened, Christopher is willing to intervene without question.
[-]Submissive
From being raised as a servant and taught to listen to his master, Christopher is a person who will listen to almost any order given to him by persons whom he is close to. He does not speak back or complain and carries out the orders given without any back-talk. He does have his limitations and refuses to attack other players, but he will do nearly anything else if asked.
[-]Indecisive
When presented with some overly difficult choices, Christopher has a hard time coming to a solid conclusion on which to choose. He prefers to try and come to a compromise whenever possible, but when that ability is taken from him; he freezes up. Christopher tries to weigh the pros and cons of each choice and sometimes takes far to much time than necessary to come to a conclusion. He also sometimes forgets certain key points to each side, and may make a decision without remembering them until after the fact.
At the same time, when presented with trying to take a side during an argument or make a decision for someone else, Christopher aims as best as he can for a compromise and hardly if ever gives a straight answer.
[-]Detached
Christopher tries to keep his ties with other people and things to a minimum. He knows his place as a servant and remains faithful to his master, Usagi, even in game. Christopher does understand the concept of friendship as well as the importance of being with others, but he tries to keep himself distant. Nor does he align himself with any specific group unless they have something that may help him later on.
[-]Perverse
As much as he tries to hide it, Christopher's eyes and mind tend to drift very often. He has an eye for the female body and tends to sometimes stare, stutter, or speak out of place whenever he sees a woman very beautiful. Of course, he tries to be polite while doing so as to not make a total fool of himself, but his level of attraction to the opposite gender can sometimes get in the way of his thought processing. Christopher tries to keep the emotions under lock and key and has enough willpower to keep his mouth shut, but his mind isn't wound so tightly...<<HISTORY>>Christopher Saint’s life, right from the start, was one very few got to experience. His life was not an ordinary one and it was planned from the very day of his conception. Christopher was born into a family of lifelong guardians of the Orphis lineage, and from the time he became aware of his surroundings; he was made the personal servant of the Orphis’s youngest daughter.
The Saint family, for generations, lived to protect and serve the Orphis family. The two families were very close and had ties with one another that stretched as far back as the Feudal Era. They held the utmost respect for one another, and the families continued to support each other through the decades. It was as if the two bloodlines were one, but they were pure and never tainted. The families knew their boundaries and never dared to mix. The Saints were the protectors, and the Orphis’ were the royalty.
Whenever a new child was being planned by the Orphis family, the Saint family was notified. This was how Saint came to be. The most recent addition to the Orphis family, Maximus Orphis’s wife, wished to have a child of her own. As the two began to plan for their child, Christopher’s parents were alerted and agreed to have a child of their own. Nine months later, the young boy who would be the next servant of the Orphis family was born. He was a healthy and strong child, but he was very quiet. He did not cry for long during his birth and did not cry a lot during the next few months. The baby boy slept soundly at night with his parents and never complained once, except for when he was separated from his mother for too long. Of course, whenever Christopher was flicked by his father or picked up by another female member of the families, the little baby quieted back down.
Christopher was a strange child, but he was smart. He didn’t complain or cry like many children his parents had seen, nor did he fight against them. When he was told to sit and stay quiet, that was what he did. Yet he always found a way to entertain himself. His mother wasn’t always around to play with him, as she was busy with cleaning their and the Orphis’s home, so Christopher was forced to play alone or in the presence of some of the Orphis family members. He didn’t feel to out of place though, as they treated him as if he was their own child. That stable and quiet life lasted until Christopher turned three.
Being fully aware of his surrounding as well as having the ability to communicate and move around without many issues, Christopher’s father began to train him. For the first three years of his life, Christopher was put through simple physical training to prepare his body, and his father put him through several mental exercises as well. From early in the morning till dinner time, Christopher was barked at and moved all around the large samurai-residence-styled home. He was given plenty of water and was fed well, as the growing boy was still a young child. The training was not strenuous just yet, but it was enough to instill the discipline the boy would require for when the Orphis baby was finally born.
Along with his physical, mental, and disciplinary training, Christopher was educated by his mother after dinner. He was taught how to write, comprehend, and read both the Japanese-language as well as English-language, as the Orphis family had several business ties with American company owners in Hawaii and California. To add to his literary skills, he was also taught simple mathematics and some science. Yet, because of his future life-style, not very much emphasis was placed on science and he only needed to understand how to keep track of simple calculations. Later on, he would be taught much more of course. In addition to being the servants to the Orphis family, many Saint family members became business partners or advisors.
To the delight of his parents, Christopher was progressing at a swift pace both physically and mentally. A few days after his fourth birthday, he was made-aware of why he existed and he accepted it happily without question. He understood that the wealthy and powerful Orphis family needed protection, and he was honored to be the giver of such. They provided a comfortable life for the Saint family, and Christopher wished to return the debt as much as he could. When the young daughter, Usagi, was born Christopher’s training was slightly adjusted. In the morning, his physical training was intensified. During the afternoon, he was taught his manners as well as how to act professional. His education was continued in the evening after dinner, but instead of returning to his own bedroom, Christopher slept beside Usagi’s room.
As Usagi aged, Christopher’s daily life was adjusted again to fit her life more and more. He was forced to wake up earlier to fit in the same amount of physical training and his afternoons became filled with him watching over her. His mother continued to teach him how to remain respectful, as well as how to look and act more dignified during the early stages of Usagi’s life. When she became more playful and needy, Christopher had to adjust to focus on her more. He became her best friend and her playmate when he wasn’t training or when she wasn’t dealing with her own family matters.
Once he finally turned six and Usagi had turned five, the two were enrolled into the same school. During their elementary years, Usagi became a prime target for bullying because of how much of a crybaby she was. Christopher’s patience was tested several times as he defended Usagi but he had learned how to control his emotions so fights were rare. Yet when they did, he made sure to protect Usagi from harm. Even if she was annoying or talked back to those she shouldn’t have, Christopher remained faithful to her and kept her from being hurt physically. Of course, after the bullies were dealt with, he would give her a good scolding.
Year after year as they grew up, Usagi continued to develop as a stubborn and loud child. She defied almost everyone who told her that she couldn’t do something and accepted almost every challenge she came across. While behind her, Christopher was forced to take much of the punishment whenever an argument escalated. Though, as he aged, he became much more aware of Usagi’s personality. His father and mother adjusted their training to try and help him prepare with how to handle different social interactions but they could only do so much. By the time the pair entered middle school, Christopher’s training at home was strictly focused on preparing him physically. He was left to learn on his own how to adapt to the world and protect Usagi.
At first, it was difficult because Christopher was terrible at compromising or solving arguments. He was able to skate by though because of how poor he was at it, and most of the other students got fed up with trying to make him and Usagi understand. Yet after a while, he became much more comfortable talking to others. He was able to more comfortably intervene whenever Usagi got herself into a pinch and slowly developed better skills to help him support her.
Yet it became much more apparent of how much Usagi relied on Christopher when they began to mature. Christopher started to become more popular in school because of his athletic ability. He also was able to keep a much higher grade average than Usagi and he garnered a lot of attention. As they aged, Usagi slowly started to fall further and further behind Christopher even while he helped with her studies and tried to help her make friends. Usagi’s personality and thoughtlessness when it came to others made her more and more of an outcast, leaving her without friends. It wasn’t much longer until Usagi became fed up with how much better Christopher was than her. An argument broke out in the Orphis house over Christopher’s fate, but it was decided that Christopher would continue to serve her anyways. It was a difficult decision, but it wasn’t Christopher’s fault in the first place.
After the internal fight, Usagi was taught how to be more polite and was disciplined more. Her rebel attitude persisted though, and she refused to change. Eventually Usagi learned to mind her manners at home because of how persistent her parents became, but had ordered Christopher to act like she had also become nicer at school. He agreed of course, but he continued to come home with scrapes and bruises from fights that occurred.
When the pair entered high school, Usagi’s mouth had become a big issue for Christopher. Her body had matured a lot and she was becoming eye-candy for a lot of the male students. She still didn’t make many friends, but that made her a target for those trying to take advantage of her loneliness. Christopher stepped in multiple times at first but after school on their way home one day, Christopher and Usagi were surrounded by a few delinquents from the school. A fight broke out and Christopher distracted the males long enough for Usagi to escape and return home to get help. When the families arrived with the police, Christopher and the thugs were still in the alley way.
Christopher had sustained several injuries on his body and was in the hospital for several weeks as he recovered. One of the thugs had drawn a knife and Christopher was sliced in multiple areas of his body, but had not been stabbed. Many of the other injuries were simple fractures and scrapes. During his time at the hospital, Usagi visited as much as possible. She spent multiple nights with Christopher there and they grew even closer. As to keep herself busy while she was there, Usagi taught herself how to knit. It wasn’t an instant process, and she wasn’t extremely skilled at it, but she managed to make Christopher a small wristband. His birthday also passed while he was there. To his surprise, Usagi brought him a present; it was a hat.
t was also the first time anyone had ever bought him something for his birthday.
When he was released from the hospital, Christopher wore the hat and the wristband wherever he went. Even in school, he kept it on no matter how many times he was yelled at to take it off. When asked where he got it and who made the wristband, he would make sure he said loudly that Usagi had given them both to him. It always made her upset that he did such a thing, as she always became embarrassed.
After the incident, Usagi became a much calmer person. She understood how much Christopher cared for her, and she finally knew how much she hated him getting hurt. She eventually asked her mother to teach her to act more “ladylike” and sharpened her attitude. As Christopher took care of her, she decided to take care of him. The two became much closer and the rumor that they were dating filled the school. Of course, the pair denied it whenever questioned and moved on with their lives.
In their second year of high school, Usagi became much more socially active, and began to make more and more friends as time went on. While she did so, she also began to broaden her interests. Usagi began dragging Christopher out to movies, concerts, and even just to go shopping for things. One day, she came across a poster that was advertising the Nerve Gear. The pair didn’t exactly understand what it was until the next day when they asked several friends. Learning about the full-dive system piqued their interests, and they decided to each get one.
The games they offered at first weren’t entertaining and since both weren’t very fluent with the system; the games were extremely difficult. Yet, where Usagi would quit and whine about it, Christopher accepted the challenge and continued to play. Slowly he became more accustomed to playing the games and his ability to play and beat them grew. He tried to help Usagi do the same and learn, but she progressed at a snail’s pace. The two eventually developed a love for videogames and even purchased a console they shared and played together on.
A few months later, knowledge of a new revolutionary game reached the pair’s ears. They both jumped on the game and gathered up as much information as they could. They had learned that they were too late for the beta test, but that didn’t stop them from waiting in line and getting the game on the actual release date. Yet before he let Usagi play the game, Christopher decided that he would play it for a few hours and get accustomed to it so he could help Usagi better. Usagi agreed, as her mother requested that Usagi accompany her to the store. It was then, that while Usagi was out shopping, Christopher became locked into the death game created by Kayaba Akihiko...

SWORD ARTS
Thunder Break. martial arts
1 Strikes, 0 Specials, 25% Speed, 225% Power
The stance required for the Sword Art is quick and straight forward. The user simply faces their target's direction and raises their left hand up a short distance from their face like a potential shield, but instead it is more of a guide. At the same time, the user twists their right hand so their palm faces upwards. The user pulls their right hand back, cocking their arm as far back as possible, and holds their hand at both chest level and a few inches away from their body. Once the hand is in place, the hand and forearm of the user starts to flare a hot fiery red, almost crimson color. Once the color ignites, the user is free to strike at any point as long as the limb is held steady.
When the strike is initiated, the right hand thrusts forward and the user lunges forward. The left hand moves, and the right arm replaces it in a vicious explosion of force. The right hand is kept open and the fingers remain tight together until just seconds before impact. In that final moment, the fingers collapse into a heavy fist and strike the target.
Fissure. martial arts
2 Strikes, 0 Specials, 130% Speed, 70% Power
The stance for this Sword Art is part of the reason for it's speed, as it is quick. The user raises their left forearm out in front of their body, and aligns their wrist, hand, and fingers so the parts of the arm create a straight line. At the same time, the user also holds the parts at a slight angle so the arm crosses their chest. In between the arm and the user's body, the user places their right arm in a similar fashion and creates a slightly disfigured letter-'X'. Once both arms are placed in this form, the area from the mid-forearm to the fingertips of both arms begins glow a bright blue.
When the Sword Art's attack is initiated, the left arm continues to linger ahead of the player as a bit of a shield as the right is pulled back to their chest. The fingers of the right hand are pointed forward towards as it rests just beside the player's abdominal region. The hand doesn't linger for longer than a second, and is quickly fired forward towards the opponent. As the right hand travels, the left arm is finally pulled back but it is moved to shoulder level. The right hand arcs in an upward trajectory, performing an uppercut. As the hand moves towards the opponent, it remains opened until just before impact where it finally closed into a tightly gripped fist. Just as the right fist impacts the enemy, the left fist is triggered and performs an overhand hay-maker. Like the right hand, the left remains open until just before impact where it then collapses into a tight fist.
