This art activates when the user turns the sword in a clockwise motion; the sword will illuminate blue signaling activation. Once fully activated, the user will race towards the enemy at a slightly faster than normal speed. When in contact, the user will inflict several blows upon the enemy causing a slight knockback effect. This art is primarily used for starting and finishing moves considering that it has a low percentage of power. Although, the knockback effect depends on the size and C-Level of the enemy along with the strength of the player themselves.

This art activates when the user turns the sword in a counterclockwise motion; the sword will illuminate a bright tangerine orange color signaling activation. Once fully activated, the user will race towards the enemy at a slightly faster than normal speed. The user will strike the enemy in their central area before finishing with a vertical slash. This will cause a minor paralysis upon the enemy. This art is primarily used as a beginning move to give the user a head start with inflicting damage. The paralysis doesn’t last for long though, and it depends upon the C-Level of the enemy.

The average family. Sana’s family was no different from the average one. They had dreams; rises and falls. But unlike most families with tragedies, they stayed together and relied on one another. When Sana was born, her parents had already suffered the loss of three children. They were surprised to see that Sana had managed to live past the age of three. That alone made her special in their eyes. Her parents loved her very much. While she was young, she was showered with affection from her family members. The affection told her that she had to meet their expectations. While she was young, Sana had an interest in cooking and fantasy. She loved to partake in little experiments with food and most would come out well. Her parents liked to encourage her dreams so they enrolled her inside of cooking elective classes while she was in school. Sana would come home with goodies and treats for them. Her parents would eat some and then others they’d be less reluctant to partake in.

All in all, by the time she was ready to enter middle school she was a fairly good cook and baker. But while in middle school her real passion bloomed.

While she was young, Sana had two best friends that she loved very much. Her friends Hana and Kohana; the two were twins and always did everything together. Sana met them during Kindergarten, and they found that their names all rhymed. Since that day, they were inseperable. But it was Kohana and Hana that introduced the world of video gaming to her. Although Sana was quite the pretty little girl and had many suitors; no one knew that she was a closet gamer. She would sit in the basement with her other friends and play Dungeons and Dragons. It was actually fairly fun and her parents were happy that she had friends despite her hobbies being slightly different from the average little girl.

But eventually kids from school found out and Sana found herself being teased about it. Coming home in tears one day, she was ashamed at how much she cried over something so stupid. The following night, she vowed to herself never to cry again over something like that. The next day, she proudly walked into school ignoring the pointing and laughter. Eventually when they realized she wasn’t paying attention, people stopped laughing at her. Though when they tried to talk to her, she’d ignore them. If they couldn’t accept her as a ‘nerd’; then they couldn’t accept her at all. There were many cliques and ‘popular kids’ in Sana’s middle school and she didn’t want anything to do with them. Even when she became a highschooler; she took the side of the voiceless, the invisible, and disregarded the populars who believed they were high above any type of rule.

After she graduated from highschool, Sana followed her dream and opened up her own resturant. Of course her first customers were none other than her parents. They wanted to see their little girl in action, and as the grand opening became a bustling rush hour. Sana loved the feeling of being an adult and doing hard labor just like when she was nothing more than a little girl. Although, it was a lot more exhausting than she first thought it would be. After going home to lay down on her Lazy Boy and curl up with her dog Toby; she found an email on her phone. It was addressed to her from some company, sponsering a video game. Opening it, she found that she apparently won some type of contest to participate in a beta for some game. Sword Art Online.

Having forgotten what gaming was like after years of studying and standing up for people; she was slightly interested and took the initiative. After purchasing the Nerve Gear, the next day she found the game had already been shipped to her apartment. Well, this was new. After inputting the game, giving Toby some water and laying down she smiled slightly and let her consciousness slip into the black as the world of <Aincrad> took over. It was exhilirating. Her entire body swirling and being engulfed in the colors only to feel herself standing there. In that world; spending an entire night in Aincrad left her exhausted and tired in the morning. So tired that she mixed up two orders and had to make new ones just so the customers wouldn’t notice.

But Sana was hooked on the game, and somewhat wished that everyday life was just like it. Her wish soon came true when the game was fully released. That day was one of her day’s off, and as she sat in her Lazy Boy beginning to plug everything in she gave a smile to the sleeping Toby before laying back and staring up at her cieling. The pearly white soon melted away into a flurry of colors and then it was all new.

It was all real.

Everything in the game was so real. The sound of water falling from the sky, the soft touch of the wind against her fingertips. Even the threatening words falling from the hooded form of Akihiko Kayaba. For a moment nothing existed, dread set in her stomach. How did this happen? Little Miss Sana Kurosaki with her entire future planned out before her was now trapped inside of a video game that could kill her. A game that could kill her. Instantly, regrets bloomed within side of her head threatening the courage that lay within her heart. Clutching her hands to her chest, she curled up within herself trying to erase the image of the figure. Trying to make herself believe this was nothing more than a mere dream. But it was real. All of it was real. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but as soon as one made contact with her chin; her heart stopped. No.

Rubbing the tears away, she aimed to defy all the laws that pushed against her and once again vowed never to cry. Never to bow down before Akihiko Kayaba and accept her own death in silence.
