Quick Slice lets Phantasimo attack twice at an increased speed with less power. To activate this Art, he holds his sword to his right side, the pointed end pointing behind him, the activation is signaled when it starts glowing a light green color.

David was born with his Fraternal Twin sister Elise from, and grew up with his sister doing a lot of things together, and both had a very large interest into gaming even at a young age. They did much of the same things together up until they were eight years old and their parents had a divorce, his sister went with his mom, and he went with his dad. He hasn't seen them, except getting a call on his and Elise's birthdays even when he got to ten years old.

It was when he was finally 15 when he got to visit his sister and mother again periodically. He was glad to see that his sister still enjoyed gaming as much he did still. They still went to separate schools, but he was happy to see them every now and then still. When he was 18, he started hearing rumor of a new device for gaming that would let yourself literally mentally in the game, he became rather interested in it and kept up with the rumor. It was when he was around 20 when the nerve gear was released, he had immediately bought one for himself and immersed himself with it. He is going to university at this point for learning programming and computer hardware.

He currently goes to university, well used to go, for programming and hardware because of his interest in technology and programming in general. So, he has a fair bit of knowledge on programming after taking it for 2 years already. Sword Art Online, this would be a game he would never forget now that he is 21 and trapped in this game. But, he isn't that worried, he will do his best to survive.

Kayaba Akihiko... This man is a genius, but also a misguided fellow. He probably had his intentions, but I will not be afraid and hide. I will live on and fight on the front lines in my own way. I will see my family again, so I will take on the name I gave myself and fight to live in my own way with my sword. I do not hate you, Kayaba, after all, you have given me the ultimate challenge for a game to give.
