Solomon

Solomon grip his sword with one hand in front of him, and in a wide stance. His free hand moves toward the blade stopping only inches away. Energy, in the form of electricity, then makes its way to the blade from his hand. The energy, having a slight green look to it, continuously surges from the blade. He then lunges toward his target, moving slightly faster than average, holding his sword with both hands down by his side. The electricity lagging behind the blade as it just barely grazes the ground, the art is then finishes a diagonal upward cutting slash.

Energy, in the form of electricity, then makes its way to the blade from his hand. Just as the electricity is about to encompass the sword it fizzes out. Solomon then rushes the target at average speed and swings the sword much like a baseball bat. Just before the blade makes contact the electricity bursts from it in greater proportions then before.

Saul’s childhood wasn’t the happiest, growing up being the youngest of five children he learned things he shouldn’t have at quite a young age. Saul had two older brothers and the oldest being two years older, and the youngest a year and a few months. His sisters where half-sisters his mom brought over from a previous marriage, he loved them just the same, the youngest of the two having a fifteen year age gap the oldest eighteen. His mother was a Jehovah’s Witness meaning him and his brother’s did have Christmas, birthdays, or Halloween.

When he went to kindergarten he ruined Christmas for some kids thinking they knew Santa Claus was fake. While he was in Kindergarten his father decided to get behind the wheel while intoxicated, luckily he survived, but a man was skateboarding near the street and lost his life that day. His father had to undergo surgery and therapy after the accident and just after all this seemed to be getting better his grandmother died.

With breast cancer and diabetes she got tired of fighting and looked around content with the only regret being her son, Saul’s father. She told one of Saul’s sisters in confidence that she a created a monster, and wished she could take it back. Months passed and summer came along with his father’s sentencing. The man was given two years, now fatherless, grand parentless, and destroyed Saul turned to his brothers for guidance, support, and advice.

Years had passed and his father was released after four years, fighting being the thing keeping him in longer than the original sentencing. Saul began to feel depression frequently, his father lied to his face daily about understanding his problems, and his mother had become overly dependent on her husband. The man continued to go to his brothers for their advice, only going to his father when he felt like he actually had advice for him.

Time passed and with high school starting to come to an end his father had to go to a different state to find work. Work came almost immediately down south in Georgia, and unfortunately his father also found himself an affair. His mother devastated by this discovery cried to her eldest son. In the end she knew her entire means of living came from him, and unless she wanted to ask one of her unwilling daughters to take care of her she had no other options. Then in his final year of high school his mother left for Georgia for good leaving her three sons to live in there old house until Saul graduated.

Saul’s life became a party do to his brother’s friends he got to experience many things: drugs, alcohol, women, starvation, and drug dealing to name a few. After graduation he moved down south with his parents while down there he caught wind of a VRMMORPG called <Sword Art Online>. Seeing this as a way to pass the time as he waited for fall to come for college he signed up for the beta.

The announcement shook Saul to his core, thoughts of jumping over the edge to see if the announcement was a joke or not came into his mind. After a while the idea of this world began to become alright with him, his father wasn’t there, he didn’t have to worry about college, and his worries from the real world didn’t matter here. He soon began to miss his brothers knowing he’d never see them again began to tear at his insides, then the thought of his sisters and their kids came to him. He had to win; he had to make it home, for the loved ones he left behind. Because depriving them of their happiness just to run away from his problems just didn’t seem fair.
