This art activates when the user rubs their fists together causing a friction which sparks a lavendar colored glow upon their knuckles. The user will then dash towards the enemy at a slightly faster than normal speed. Once in contact with the enemy, the user will indulge in a series of attacks. This art has a minor poisoning effect. It can be used as a beginning or a finishing move.

This art activates when the user turns the weapon in a clockwise motion. The weapon will glow a light blue color thus signaling the art. Racing towards the enemy, the user will inflict a devastating first blow on the enemy with the dagger. After releasing the dagger, the user will then kick the enemy thus throwing them off balance a bit. It can be used as a beginning or a finishing move.

Born of a normal middle-class family; Rena was nothing special. Or at least that is what she considered herself. But her parents saw her as nothing more than a mere godsend. Rena was their only child and even though she was born with abnormalities in hair and eye color; they loved her more than anything. Though upon Rena’s birth, many rumors were spread about her father having an affair, her mother being a whore. She was ostracized by the other children for being weird. Her parents would often watch their little godsend come home battered and bruised from being teased by the kids and pushed around. Eventually her mother couldn’t take it anymore, and put Rena inside of self-defense classes. That is where she met Mister Chang. He was the pillar that formed her personality and taught her what the true value of believing and being herself really meant.

At a young age, Rena became skilled in kendo and taijutsu. Mister Chang became her role model and the two of them had many days of adventure together. Her parents were glad to see that their child was coming home with less and less bruises. Rena’s classmates started to fear her; her cold personality falling into place. The boys praised her for being strong while the girls feared her because of the way they treated her. Nonetheless, Rena loved the combination and felt more confident within herself. Growing higher in the levels of taijutsu and kendo; she felt that eventually it would pay off.

During her time in her teenage years; Rena’s life was filled with many successes and failures. Mister Chang died when she turned twelve and the loss of a great friend took a toll upon her heart. Though she continued to train harder and harder. Her parents also stood by her during this point in her life. She was rising through school and became the feared idol of the school. In highschool, she tried out track, baseball and even gymnastics. Doing her best in those sports, it made her stand out even more. Though at this time, Rena became more aware of her differences and used them as strengths to boost herself even more. This all came to a halt when her father grew ill; then the only thing Rena could concentrate on doing was taking care of him and nurturing her worried mother. The two of them combined created a new weight upon the teen’s shoulders and within her emerged a spark of maturity.

Her father grew better but at this point in time Rena had already graduated from high school and was starting her life. She was working as an athletic trainer and a self-defense teacher. Rena loved her job but even her parents were seeing that it was running the girl into the ground. Her parents grew quite worried and they decided to give her something to take her mind of off the stress at work. They bought her the Nerve Gear. Giving it to Rena’s local mail man, the mail man delivered it to Rena with glee. She was slightly confused. Why would her parents buy her something like this? Especialyl with a game like ‘Sword Art Online’. Sighing, she didn’t see a reason to let their money go to waste. Setting up the game, she laid down in her Lazy Boy and shut her eyes.

Lips folding downwards, she turned her back to him and folded her arms keeping quiet until the speech ended. Only then when it ended, did the light return to her eyes. This was a fantasy world right? Meaning she could do and be anything she wanted? Once that dawned upon her, she took up the persona of ‘Risa’. An assassin.
