Nothing more than a little thing; Rhea stands at about 4'9". She isn't that tall and though she knows it, she often likes to pretend as though she is. She is a slender and robust little girl who appears quite healthy. Her skin is fair from playing outside while her parents were watching her. Auburn brown hair that comes to her shoulder almost always there is a loose strand sticking out and curling up. Her eyes are big and child-like with an innocent glint, and can be considered a honey-brown. Usually, she is seen wearing her armor or on other days she would be wearing a collared white t-shirt, blue shorts and boots with a loose tie that is similar to her school uniform.

When this art is being activated, Rhea's fingers touch the tip of her blade causing it to shine a ghouly white color. With this, she races towards her enemy at a fast pace slightly faster than normal and directs a powerful two-hit attack upon them at their central area.

With this art, Rhea grips the handle of her sword in one hand and drags her finger against it causing it to glow light blue after it is activated she rushes at the enemy at a less than normal speed. Once in contact; she will deliver a powerful uppercut before topping it off with a downwards slash. This art can be parried and it primarily depends on her speed and distance..

• HONEST - Honesty is always the best policy is what her father taught her. You shouldn't lie even if it is for a very good reason. Rhea upholds this by trying to be honest with every little thing she does. No matter how big or small, lying is not good.
  
  
• HARD-WORKING - Hardwork will always pay off in the end as her mother says. So everyday, she tries to do hard. Especially when it comes to coloring. But in SAO, she has decided to work especially hard to clear the event for her father.
  
  
• RESILIENT - Laying down and doing as people says isn't right. She should be entitled to her own diversity. Therefore, Rhea is resilient to authority and tries her best to fight against it.
  
  
• ENERGETIC - Always bouncing and lively. Moving and grooving. She can never stay still especially if its only for a few minutes.
  
  
• FLEXIBLE - Bending to people's schedules and fitting into the smallest places in a niche is her thing.

Rhea Ushiromiya was born into the arms of Aegis and Nanako Ushiromiya. Quite odd names for a parent but then again; they were the normal pair. Nanako was a stay-at-home mom while Aegis was a game creator. Rhea was born in the 15th of January and her parents were overjoyed. They would play with the baby, nurture the baby and overall spoil her with love and affection. As a baby, she was bouncing and bubbly like any other child. But even more so, she enjoyed her father's work. She'd spend hours sitting up in her crib after naps watching her father work on project after project.

When Rhea entered kindergarten, she often told her teacher that she would be just like her dad. Aegis who was a well-known creator was proud and his daughter would spend her time after she finished her homework, helping him. That is when her father got her into VMMORPGs. The two of them bought a Nerve Gear and would often dive into stupendous and oddly decorative worlds where all they had was eachother and that was all they needed. Often when her father was too busy to play, Rhea would log in alone seeing as she had parent's consent, the system allowed her to play.

Venturing around the landscape birthed a new outlook of life inside of Rhea. She wanted her world to be just like a VMMORPG. So when she had free time, she would draw characters with her mother. She would dream about a world that floated in the sky. A land where dragons could be slayed and princesses and princes saved. Those worlds only seemed like dreams however. Because when Nanako turned seven, her father was in a car accident.

It happened so fast, and she found that she couldn't fathom it. Sitting in the back seat of the car while they were on their way from her basketball tournament. A trophy sitting in her lap obstructing her father from seeing over his right shoulder. A drunk driver ramming into the back of them causing the car to skid and hit into an oncoming car. Her father was left paralyzed from the waist down while Rhea only had a few scratches and a dented trophy.

Since that day, her father has been chippier than ever. He decided to stay home more often and work from there so he could be with Rhea. But Rhea tried to distance herself from her father feeling that she was the one who caused his injury. Though their relationship rekindled slowly after, the two spent more time together than anything.

Nanako was excited when Aegis decided that it was time for him to leave the house. But she wasn't surprised when it was for a video game. Sword Art Online. He had two copies reserved for him and Nanako by his company. After going to get it, he set it up in the Nerve Gears and told Rhea not to play them until he got out of the shower. Without hesitation, Rhea put on the headgear and inserted herself into the world of SAO.

Moments later, the report came on the news and Aegis rolled down to see what his wife was shrieking about only to find that their daughter was one of the many comatose victims of SAO.

This world was amazing! Rhea exclaimed while she ran through the fields of SAO. The system finished her data and agreed with her parent's consent. Now she was officially a member of Sword Art Online. Fully aware that her father might be upset that she logged in before him. Surely, he would forgive her when she became the best in the game. Giggling softly, Rhea played in the fields and fought against the mobs for hours before resting her back on the grass. Everything was so peaceful, it was funny.

That was until she heard a ping. Her body materialized in the square and she found herself looking at Akihiko Kayaba. She heard about him! He was the genius behind SAO! Her hero! After announcing the Death Game, she laughed and placed her hands on her hips. Her father was missing out on a great opportunity! A fantastic event! But little did she know; that SAO could end up being her grave.
