Deen is 5'2" and funsized. Her hair is completely black, her eyes are dark brown and her skin is pale. In the real world, she looks like this.

The user will hold her weapon diagonally at her eye level, with her grip reversed and its edge out. Once the target is close to striking distance, the weapon will emit a sapphire color. The user will then dash forward to cover the distance between herself and the target. Once her weapon clashes against the target, the user will turn anti-clockwise in place while making two strikes.

The user will hold her weapon diagonally by her side, edge up, with its tip pointed down to the ground, while her left foot is put forward. Once the target is close to striking distance, the weapon will emit a crimson color. When her target is within striking distance, the user will strike diagonally upwards from her lower right to her upper left. This attack is accompanied by a momentary stun.

Nice Bits:

• Grateful : Deen remembers every good deed that is done to her, even indirectly. She repays it by paying it forward (helping other people) but if she can, she will repay the benefactor directly.
  
  
• Judgemental : She judges a person based on first impressions. From that point on, Deen will decide if she wants to continue such an acquaintance, or if she will throw a bucket of cold water over it. As such, she will not fight back against harsh or judgmental words for she is consciously judgemental herself. Her opinion of others never leave her mind unless there is actual evidence that she is correct; Deen steers clear of gossip.
  
  
• Patient : Deen is naturally patient and ever since she became an instructor, she has learned to break down complex explanations into layman's terms. She does not mind having to sit down with a person to explain something to him, or to aid him in his task.
  
  
• Poker-faced: A rather literal nice bit, Deen's face maintains the same expression unless she forces a smile. Sometimes she thinks that she is smiling, but her face does not react accurately to her feelings. On top of that, her eyebrows are straight so even when she is relaxed, she looks pissed off. She finds it useful for keeping people away from her.
  
  
• Practical: She is mostly logical, but not to the degree that she disregards faith. Deen is, simply put, practical. She will assess a situation and handle it in the simplest, most practical way. Due to this, she is also unafraid of death. She views it as the endpoint of life, and does not fear it though she is not insane enough to hasten the end of her life.

Naughty Bits:

• Awkward : Despite being a grateful person, Deen finds it difficult to accept gratitude or compliments from others. If she does something good to someone, she prefers that they pay it forward. Although she does not intend for it to look as if she is arrogant, her lack of response to words of thanks or praises may make her look haughty.
  
  
• Reserved : Deen does not intend to look angry, or to say mean words, but by the time that she realizes what she looked like or what she said, it's usually too late to correct the situation. She often feels awkward and worries about what she just did or said, but due to her poker-faced bit, it does not show. If a situation or a person forces a reaction from her, Deen usually reacts badly in a seemingly sadistic way. But really, she's more of a tsundere than a serial killer. Due to this, she prefers to keep to herself.
  
  
• Vindictive : Eye for an eye- this is how Deen lives her life. Due to her patience, it is difficult to actually cross her badly enough for this naughty bit to be triggered. But once Deen sets her vindictive eyes upon a target, her sight will follow him to the end of his life.
  
  
• Obsessive : Once Deen sets her mind on something, it will be difficult if not impossible to dissuade her. She is particularly obsessed with doing many small tasks and finds it difficult to say "no" to anything that is asked of her if she knows that she can do it; Deen will typically respond with a straight "yes" or "maybe", which also usually ends up as a "yes". However, on the opposite end of the spectrum, Deen will outright say "no" to something that she does not want to do. Attempting to turn that "no" to a "yes" will result in grave consequences.
  
  
• Pettanko : Though shalt not bring up her stature or three sizes.

Deen's interests include traditional art forms such as drawing and writing. Whenever she wanted to do something entertaining indoors, she played fighting, adventure or survival horror video games, or MMORPGs . Her interests for writing and gaming intersected in the vast world of the internet where Deen became interested in text-based roleplaying. In between gaming or writing sessions, she found the time for cooking and baking. As for outdoor activities, she preferred getting close to nature by hiking and she also occasionally dabbled in inline skating. Additionally, Deen can fluently speak English, Filipino and Hiligaynon, a dialect of her country.

She likes apples and four things that start with the letter C: candies, cookies, cola and cats; and dislikes the following food items: ampalaya (bitter gourd), atchesa/chesa (canistel) and mabolo (velvet apple). Deen does not look for particular qualities in the people whom she meets; she is quite accepting of many personalities. Instead, she watches out for qualities that she dislikes. She stays away from people who have an obvious lack of common sense. Deen particularly hates indecisive people; oddly enough, she also dislikes (to a lesser extent) people who are too serious and uptight. She loathes those who are unyielding, most especially people who are disrespectful of others' opinions.

Deen was born to a personnel manager at a softdrink factory and to his ambitious wife. While growing up, Deen died twice, but she got better. The first time was when she was around two years old and had a lung infection which quickly progressed overnight. Despite panic and hysteria, the girl was saved. A year or so later, she was swept over by a wave while she was making sandcastles on the beach. Afterwards, she woke up and had crab for lunch. They say that “Death favors no man”; fortunately, Deen was a girl. The rest of her childhood years were spent either tied up to an iron gate under the midday sun, or having soy sauce and rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Her teenage years were slightly better. The first half was riddled with bullying incidents, which Deen did not understand until she gained access to the internet. Filipinos had no local word for “bullying”, after all. In highschool, she met decent people and that was when she took on the masculine nickname “Deen”, and also began to stand up for herself. The only memorably depressing thing that happened to the girl at that time was when she was rejected by the guy that she liked. She was heartbroken, but she got better. But by then, her resolve was formed: she would never forgive nor forget those who cross her.

During college, Deen’s experience in case studies and her first thesis, which required group effort, was really shitty. She teamed up with “friends” who were incessant whiners who could not research, document nor program properly. From those experiences, she learned that the personal and professional parts of her life should be kept separate. Having learned her lesson, she teamed up with a classmate who was neither friend nor foe for her final thesis, and they ended up with the “Best Thesis” award.

In life and in love, Deen learned to distance herself from leeches. Work relations were purely professional, and after some heartaches, she became even more logical. Outside of work, Deen would only do something if she wanted to. Although she was a computer instructor who pursued a graduate degree, Deen preferred to keep her work within the duration of her paid hours, and her schoolwork within the duration of her masteral class hours. Anything beyond that was “her time” and she did as she pleased with it, which included roleplaying, drawing, writing, and playing MMORPGs.

That was the first thought that crossed Deen’s mind. She pulled away from the crowd; panic and stupidity were contagious, and also a deadly combination. From her experience, stupidity usually overcame logic during such stressful times, and she would rather stay away from possibly-stupid people. The avatar change irked her. She wanted to keep her pink hair, but there was no use moping about it. Deen was momentarily worried about her pets which had to be looked after and fed, and about her work too for it was almost exam week- but that was all pushed aside by the awesomeness of the situation. No responsibilities, no whiny bosses, no oblivious students- she could play SAO to her heart’s content.
