Objective.
"Hey there sugarcube, heard you're a novice farmer around here, I could use an extra pair of hands around here, some wild critters have been getting into my crops and I need to harvest my special moon carrots... yes I said moon carrots, hush your face. They're really simple to harvest but they have a very limited window of ripeness before they simply can't be used for anything, so I gotta get them outta the ground fast! If you could take care of the critters and then give me a hand with caring for some of the other plants around here and maybe help me harvest some moon carrots?"

-Defeat the creatures attacking the crops
-Tend to the crops
-Harvest moon carrots with the cute farm girl

NOTES: An interesting thread! I have mixed feelings about the NPCs, while on one hand I think they were game constructs, on the other I think you tried to really make them feel human? The 'sugarcube' verbal tic really broke verisimilitude though, in one post I think she said it at least three times which is more than a bit jarring. I'm not sure if you meant to convey that as a 'not-quite-human' vibe or if that was just how you wrote her out?

Overall, solid! Keep up the good work.
