The Journey: Fate/Reality Nue
Chapter One: The Winged Knight's Final Journey
------------------------------------------------
It had been some time since the Fourth Holy Grail war. Yet, sometimes locations change, new players step in but power always finds a place to rest its head. Years ago, I fought highly skilled and powerful spirits and master's, before returning to the realm I was in previously. It had been like it never happened, time had went on with my disappearance, but I had been erased from time itself. I began researching in every world and plain I entered, unsure of what was to come. Seven-teen years, and I found that answer in my own head. But it was gone in a flash, as if someone or something was preventing me from seeing what I needed to see, read what I felt was needed. Books caught fire, tablets crumbled, and something was hiding it from me.
Then is happened. Fuyuki City. I woke up one night, hearing the sound of fighting and took notice to a school yard that was surrounding me. Strange place to wake up? Yes. I could already tell that something was wrong the moment a sword clashed with a lance, not even twenty feet from me. Pushing myself up, I sat while rubbing my forehead due to a head ache. This very ache stopping me with a barrier from reaching information. These people, I knew them but the information was gone, as was the barrier. I ground my teeth with a growl, alerting the two combatants to my appearance and the one holding the lance jumped back and looked towards me. In his eyes I saw a predator looking at prey, while the dual wielding swordsman's eyes felt shock at the sight of me. Who the fuck is he?
It took less than a second for the lance wielding man with blue hair and armor to reach me, and even less than a tenth of a second for me to draw my trusted blade that I wielded as King Crimea and block the blade of his lance or spear, whatever with the exact center of my sword's gravity. His lance was stuck in the smal whole ment to catch thrusting weapons, and his eyes narrow. A dead lock. Neither of us could move without the other defending first. My left eye swept over to the man in the red gunner coat with short white hair and tanned skin. A bow was in his hand. I locked onto both, as one prepared to fire and arrow enchanted with exceeding amounts of power, while the other's eyes never left me.
I knew not if he had noticed the Archer, but the man let the arrow fly straight at us both. What is strange is the speed he moved to be able to shoot from above us. I'd not seen such a skill since my last fight against Ichigo Kurosaki taken over by his hollow. His Final Getsuga speed has been slow by comparison, and I could only wonder if these people could match him based on the fact that the lancer here had been giving the archer a duel to the death and they seemed to be on equal terms. The arrow came down, but both of us had moved. My blade sank into the ground, keeping me from flying away due to the impact of the arrow and waves of power that came off it. If I had been any closer than I was, even the slightest hair, I would not be alive as I was not using my power.
"Damn... I just woke up under a tree and I'm already getting attack by some damn archer and spear-man. What the hell are you two? Matching me in combat even at my most sealed state is unheard of these days. swordsmen, archer's and spear-men haven't been that fast in all the time I've bee alive," I gritted out, the blast back from the arrows impact still affecting me.
"So you're the Saber of this war?" came the question of the day from the lance wielding man in blue. I could not answer that question. Saber? A sword? No. It seemed more of a title with the format of that sentence. Damn. My legs and arms were shaking, and Mana wasn't abundant here, nor was Aer. No. I felt something. I felt life from the world.... mana. I closed my eyes for less than a second, stretching my conscious out to the world around me and found it. A gaint tree hidden from the world and mana pouring into the world. I could heal myself, but the chant would leave me open. I had a few items in the scroll Naruto gave me for my travels after appointing him as the Hokage with Sasuke and Sakura as advisers. No! Can't think about that! I'm in a battle! I remember! fate Stay/night!
"I am afraid you must have me mistaken for someone else. A saber is only a sword, but it comes off as a title from how you say it. I'm starting to remember though.... Lancer... Archer. I never imagined I would take part in another Holy Grail War. Archer, you've grown into a Hero I see. I'm proud... but if you attack me... you add an eighth fighter to the war. You know of my old full strength. This time.. I have the sword I was searching for, all those years ago for both of us."
Archer's eyes flashed to softness before turning cold again once he heard I had gained my weapon of choice, eyeing the claymore that was a white as snow in my right hand. This was the sword of a King, and a sword of a dark knight. Ike gave me this blade before I left Crimea on my journey across the ocean after the Mad King's War.
"You talk too much!" My sword came up, taking a blow from the bloody red lance and I dragged my blade down its shaft with speed the man lost track of, delivering a swift sword slash to his chest, sending him into the air. His eyes locked onto me as he came back with lance in hand, my own sword raised to meet him before I heard someone behind me and turned around, smacking the oncoming lance off is path and kicking Lancer to the side. I failed to see him swing again as he went down, and my right side was cut as I turned away from him. This pain, I felt before. Numerous times but I always cried out. Lancer took off after the red haired boy I had seen, and I cursed rather loudly, giving a pointed stare at the Archer who shrugged me off. He took off after him as a woman cried out to him.
"Don't let him kill students! We can just erase his memory!"
"You're too soft Tohsaka."
Shirou... how much have you changed since becoming a hero? I wondered as I pushed myself up from the ground. Damn... I didn't see him attack again. This was difficult, as I pushed myself up, clothes turning a bright red as my blood flowed.
"Holy.. power come... First Ai.." I fell. Unable to continue the spell I laid there close to death as my right side had been cut clean open. I could barely keep my vision as the girl from before with pigtails keeled over me with magic and I felt myself starting to recover. I turned my head as much as possible, due to this damn slash and looked up to her.
"Use... my mana.. more abundant."
I was met with a nod, yet an uncertain one. She slowly channeled my mana into her spells and the effect was nearly instantaneous. My side was fine, but the pain wouldn't go away just like that. The pain? Normal and acceptable, easy to get through. Blood loss was not and weakened the body. I pushed myself up, ignoring all protest before I pat her shoulder once. I did this to single to follow in case I didn't make it and needed assistance. She felt it, as I had shot the thought into her mind. My steps lingered alone for a moment, reaching the entrance to the school and breaking into a run as Tohsaka was behind me. I had shown her my hands as she ran behind me, proving I was not a master. Yet, she didn't know if I was a servant, and frankly, neither did I. The thought kept me busy as we ran across the school looking for Shirou.
Could I be a servant? But who could have summoned me? A sorcerer? No. They need not my power or me in general. Then it hit me. Caster. Caster could summon me, and possibly Tokomiwhatthefuckeverhisnameis. Gilgamesh is here and hiding though, and if I'm right Shirou ran into him with Sakura I think. I can't be sure really. I never played the Visual Novel, only watched the anime's. All of them. Even so, I knew the slightest things, so I wonder what route I would end up on. Heh. Probably the 'You're Fucked' Route.
Dammit.
