Listen up maggots, we were recently able to implement classy tags into v5. The syntax, while similar to previous versions, is a bit different due to being coded by a different person and was more or less a rough version that will probably be refined in the future (since I am going to keep an eye on things to see if we can improve the code).
And since I am advocating the usage of these codes, I was asked to write a short tutorial on using them. Right now, due to limited code knowledge, there is a sort of limit in the classy tags. You can include up to 6 classy tags inside a sixth one.
Example:
[classy][classy2][classy3][classy4][classy5][classy6][classy7][/classy7][/classy6][/classy5][/classy4][/classy3][/classy2][/classy]
Do note that there is no classy1 and it won’t work if you try to use it. Again I will be keeping an eye and will probably update this tutorial when necessary.
Classy works more or less the same as it did before. You need to have [newclass=.>class name here<] tags somewhere to create the class that you can later call on. Don't forget the period before the class name.
Example
You then call on it with [classy=>class name here<] or any variations of the numbered versions for when you need to put classy tags inside classy tagsYo dawg, I heard you like classy tags so we put classy tags inside your classy tag so you can be classy while being classy
Example with classy and classy2
And that, maggot, is the main difference from the class code from Proboards v4 used in style tags v2 and v2.1. This final example shows a little bit more of what you can do with these codes:
Final Example going up to classy4
One more word of advice that if you forget, I will show you true terror:
DO NOT HAVE THE SAME CLASS NAME AS ANOTHER PERSON EVER!!!!! THEY WILL INTERFERE WITH EACH OTHER
