IN-GAME NAME HERE<<NAME>>Taiyou "Kidzukene" Kazune
a.k.a. Yuki - 「歌手音」<<AGE>>20<<GENDER>>Male<<NATIONALITY>>Indian<<APPEARANCE>>Taiyou is, at first glance, normal. He's fairly light skinned, but obviously Indian. Coal eyes and coal hair make for a somewhat uninteresting individual. Taiyou's hair is somewhat long and is usually brushed to one side, keeping it out of his face, but it is large and poofy enough to always seem unkempt. Taiyou stands at 180 centimeters, with a somewhat lanky build. The slight bags under his eyes can trick people into thinking he's not worth much, especially with his usual slouch. All these variable components come together to form a Taiyou that can seem respectable and proper, tired and unreliable, or creepy and dangerous. There's no mistake, Taiyou is inconsistent at best. His clothes of choice would be a simple pair of cargo pants, a sweater on top of a long sleeved shirt, and if he had the option, a scarf.

Because of this, he gives off the impression of a stable, average individual. He's a He wasn't born into a murder program, isn't a sociopath, and isn't going to stab you to pieces if you look at him the wrong way. Therefore, he can manipulate conversations to seem like a regular guy.
-Quick Witted: Taiyou is intelligent, but more than that, he's quick. It's rare that he can focus all his attention on one thing, but Taiyou is definitely a bit quicker to the punch than your average individual and has a surplus of knowledge to boot.
-Self-Control: Taiyou knows how to hold back and because he is often thinking of several things at once, he doesn't often appear to be as strong as he actually is. He can usually keep fairly calm. Taiyou may suddenly shift from incompetent to seriously dangerous if you push him too far. In that way, he can seem like a first-stage mid-boss and then later seem to be the extra boss from lunatic mode.
-Unpredictable: Taiyou may be normal, but that doesn't mean he's predictable. That might be a good thing, but it can often make his actions seem unreasonable or strange. He does what he thinks is good and can sometimes seem unnatural, strangely calm, or overly blunt. Cold, harsh, strange, these are all things that people have said Taiyou is. He's somewhat fickle and is a non-constant. It might be best to think of him as a joker in the deck that might be dealt to either you or your opponent.
-Stubborn: It's a bit mismatched, but Taiyou can be unbelievably stubborn. He might change his own mind easily, but forcing him to change his mind or accept things he doesn't want to can be an incredibly daunting task.
-Selfish: He does what he wants. You can try and manipulate him into doing other things, but he's not going to do them unless he feels good about it. He'll poke his head into your business if he feels like it.
Taiyou likes to know things. He likes to learn new things. He loves languages. He wants to know. He doesn't like being pushed around and doesn't like bullies. He has a very strong interest in stories and ideas as a result of his fast-track brain. When he writes, the idea of multiple perspectives or multiple dimensions often appears as a result of all the 'what if' questions that bound around in his head.<<HISTORY>>"Oh, that guy? How should I say... Ahaha, remembering is a bit hard. We were all really small then and I remember him telling me once that if anyone came searching for him, not to reveal what his name actually used to be. Strange though, even though he had that name for so long. Well, we'll all tell you the same thing, as much as we know. He said he was born in India and moved to the East when he was young. Soon after, he ended up in California -because of his parents or something- and continued his education here. He was a bit weird and kind of smart, but somewhat average. Oh, there was one thing here or there, but it felt like the older he got... the older he got. That's a weird way to put it. Perhaps it's better to explain it like this. As time passed, it felt like that guy got more and more old. It was a bit strange, but we were all young then and he didn't particularly stand out. I don't really remember too much from those days though. Maybe if you ask around, you'll be able to find out more? No one really knows the whole story."
- Interview with A-san, a elementary school classmate of Taiyou's.
"Huh? Why do you want to know about that uninteresting guy? None of us really paid too much attention to each other, I guess, and that guy always stood out as not standing out. He was never the best in anything, never won anything, and never seemed to get a perfect score or result in anything. There was always something wrong with what he was doing, but it was always something normal, like a silly mistake or some other silly thing. I guess that's the best way to describe it.
Now that I think about it, he had an older sister, didn't he? Yeah, he did. It was something like that. I'd look her up for you, but I remember him saying something about how they had different last names and I don't really remember what his was, much less hers. I think he liked card games or something in middle school? He struck me as the type that would be on the internet a fair bit, I guess, but that was never really clear to anyone. The more I think about it, the more I realize that everyone figured he was just some kid we all knew, but I don't think any of us actually knew him at all, more than superficially. Maybe a few people.
That guy was never too great at making friends, if I remember correctly. It seemed like he made all his friends by becoming friends with the friends of his friends. Wow that's annoying to say. Just what was he like... He seemed like the type to get angry easily, but other people said he was way too calm instead. He seemed really hard to peg down. Not in an interesting way, but rather as something that was too troublesome to deal with. Nothing really interesting, except for that one incident.
Well, I shouldn't talk about it anyway. It's old news. I think he decided to go to some place in the East to study engineering. Sorry, not the East as in Asia, but rather the East Coast of the US. That's all I really know. Boring guy though. I can't even remember his name. Did he do something? We're all somewhat... loyal to each other, the kids from that time, so..."
-Interview of High School Classmate B-san.
"Wahaha. That Taiyou, huh? A different name? Well, I don't know anything about that, he's had that name as long as I've known him. Speaking of which, he sure has a really weird last name, huh? You'd expect it to be read as Kazuoto, since that certainly sounds more like a last name, but he insists it's Kazune. Guess that's the difference between native speakers and people like that who learned. Well... I guess that's not really fair. Even though he's an outsider, I was surprised. He may not know all our customs and traditions, but he's one of the hardest workers I've ever met. He not only put in hours at my cousin's shop all the time, he was helping my Yuka-chan with her school work often as well. I think I saw him doing one of those 'power jobs', lifting sand bags and steel girders or something like that. He never really said anything and wasn't the most polite, but he seemed like he had something he really wanted to do. Within a year, that guy became unbelievably fluent.
It was like there was something he had set his mind on and he was going to pursue it no matter what. For such a young guy, he was determined. Or perhaps it was because of that? He didn't really tell us adults much, but I heard from my Yuka-chan that she and the other kids he tutored occasionally learned a thing or two about him. He flew over here when he was eighteen, or so I heard. So he must be almost twenty now. He never talks much about his family, but the kids apparently love his stories. Then about six months ago, he started cutting back on his hours at that cousin of mine, Fuuka's shop. It reminded me of those kids who suddenly put everything into studying that I've seen around the place, but he's not the right age for anything like that.
Well anyway, apparently Fuuka got a card or something about a month ago with one of those cliche'd 'Thanks for everything up to now' messages. It wasn't marked as having come from anywhere, which was especially strange, but it was definitely that kid's handwriting. He also listed a time or something and a certain channel on the back, but that hasn't come up yet. That's usually when those kids shows come on though, so I don't know what's up with that. Fwahahaha. He was pretty average and his strength was definitely average... Perhaps that was his charm. Fwahahaha. Well that's all I can tell you. You could ask Fuuka, but she's pretty busy and she knows about as much as I do."
-Interview of cousin of Bread Store Owner Fuuka Miyaguchi and leader of the Neighborhood Watch Association, Junpei Miyaguchi.
There wasn't really much reaction to Kayaba's announcement. Taiyou shrugged, sighed, and walked away. He would still accomplish his goal either way, it just meant he had a more in depth chance to investigate. It was a bit saddening, as after finally changing his fate, he had been pulled in a completely different direction, but if it was a game that could house 10,000 players, then there would be no shortage of research materials. Besides, there was zero chance of someone he knew showing up, which was better still.
So Taiyou shrugged, scoffed a bit, and turned around, heading straight for the edge of the world. His intention wasn't to leap, but rather to prevent others from leaping. Without returning back to town for three weeks, Taiyou continuously did his best to turn people around. Now, the plan is to exist and move forward.SKILLS

Realize your own short-sightedness and fall. Learn your own limits and restrain yourself before you give up your life for that love. Three points go towards increasing the chance of inducing the tumble effect, activating after the attack has finished. This is the seventh stake.<<taiyou kazune from original by ishi kudo as taiyou kazune>><<character by yuki>><<profile template by bunny>>
